Tyco Integrated Systems have worked with numerous councils and traffic authorities to improve the flow of traffic in urban areas and we are the UK market leader in this field. Our solutions combine a variety of CCTV, and software based solutions to speed up incident detection, and allow operators to quickly and effectively take corrective actions.

Our track record includes one of the largest integrated urban networks operating across the whole of London, linking street cameras with the motorway network, and many local sub-systems within football stadia and city centres. Our teams of highly skilled software developers, have developed this comprehensive network in conjunction with the associated customer groups.

This major project has placed Tyco Integrated Systems in a position of trust, and we have recently been commissioned by the organisation Transport for London, Street Management, (formerly the TCSU - Traffic Control Systems Unit) to develop an open standard, which is now available industry wide to enable CCTV systems to interface together, irrespective of manufacture. This is referred to as Open Protocol, and is particularly useful for linking UTC systems with City Centre schemes.
